Childlight: Global Child Safety Institute/Moray House School of Education and Sport
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 30 April 2027
Full-time – 35 hours each week.
The Opportunity:
Childlight, a global child safety organisation, is seeking a Finance and Compliance Manager to guarantee that our operations and business transactions adhere to all applicable legal, ethical, and internal guidelines. Your mission will be to guarantee that Childlight works legally, responsibly, and ethically, while adhering to our strategic objectives and external donors’ terms and conditions.
You will manage Childlight’s financial administration while also improving the quality of Childlight operations through policy compliance, adherence to standard operating procedures, and the maintenance of a quality control system.
This position is fixed-term until April 30, 2027, and full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are willing to accept part-time or flexible working arrangements. We are also willing to consider requests for hybrid working (non-contractual) that mixes remote (within the UK) and regular on-campus employment.
Your abilities and traits for success:
- A qualified chartered accountant (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPFA, ACMA, CGMA) or equivalent
- Experience handling large, complex budgets.
- Experience collecting, evaluating, and presenting complicated material to a senior audience.
- Experience in corporate operations, finance, project management/control systems, and IT procedures.
- A desire to make the world a better place by preventing CSEA, enhancing services, and protecting children.
