Job Summary
The postholder will be in charge of providing complete administrative and secretarial support to the department/directorate. The role holder will lead administration staff within their responsibility.
The post holder will be a major part of the management team, with corporate functions and responsibilities commensurate with the grade and nature of the position.
Main responsibilities, tasks, and abilities required
Line Management of the Administrative Team
Provide complete administrative and secretarial services to Senior Management.
PA to Clinical Site Lead.
Diary management and meeting planning, including venue hiring, refreshments, and equipment.
Prepare and disseminate agendas, attend meetings, take notes, and distribute
To issue purchase orders through Trust finance systems.
Prepare documents for the senior management team.
Conduct appraisals, one-on-one meetings, sickness, and disciplinary evaluations.

* A degree in business administration or a related discipline, or comparable experience and training
Experience

* Experience interacting with the public/customer service
* Experience working in an administrative function with a proven track record of problem solving and team management.
* Experience managing complex diaries utilising your own judgement when dealing with conflicting appointments and priorities.
* Proficient in using a variety of Microsoft Office packages (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook).
* Worked autonomously in a hectic setting, using judgement and decision-making skills.
