JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced, excellent, proactive, and eager candidate to fill this position within the Accommodation Service. This newly created position will improve the service we provide to our residents by assisting in the recruitment and leadership of a team to assist our people outside of normal office hours.
The goal of this role is to improve the resident experience by ensuring that there are a variety of activities available for residents to participate in, as well as providing immediate response to any incidents that may occur within our campuses and residences, while also managing specific tasks that benefit the accommodation service in general.
The position requires someone who is comfortable taking an active role in the strategic development of the lodging service, has outstanding customer service and communication skills, and enjoys working with students and young people.
You will have a great eye for detail and grasp the fundamentals of leading a team and executing a successful Residential Life (ResLife) programme. You will challenge the status quo, identify innovative methods to improve the service, have a thorough awareness of the student demography and developing expectations, and be a staunch believer in continuous development.
The position will require the employee to work on a rota basis between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m., Monday through Sunday.
This position requires a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, which will be conducted following the interview. The appointment is conditional on proper clearance.
