Head of Hospitality and Catering

£63,702 – £71,052 annually (pro rata)

About the Role

As Head of Hospitality and Catering, you will oversee a large organisation that spans four campuses. Your responsibilities include managing a large number of retail outlets as well as a diverse portfolio of internal and external events, delegate conferences, day meetings, dinners, and reputational events like as Open Days, Graduation Ceremonies, and University Executive Team-led events.

This position requires an imaginative senior leader who is passionate about providing sustainable, high-quality offerings with great service standards. The capacity to develop and maintain good connections with internal and external stakeholders is critical.

The ideal applicant will have prior experience in a senior catering management job, a commitment to high service standards, demonstrable leadership, and great customer attention, as well as effective communication skills at all levels. Previous experience managing big teams and operations within a complex, multisite organisation, as well as awareness of industry trends, is required. Finally, you must demonstrate strong financial expertise, a passion for providing excellent food and service, and strict adherence to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety procedures.
