The UEE Care Group includes Stroke, Eldercare, Acute Medicine, and the Emergency Department.
A Healthcare Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant is not an average job, nor is it suitable for everyone. Healthcare Support Worker Band 2: Education, Qualifications, and Relevant Experience
Essential criteria
- Experienced at communicating with a variety of people, both written and verbally.
- Willingness and competency to finish the Care Certificate within a certain timeframe
- Willingness and competency to complete additional training for progression to Healthcare Assistant within the agreed-upon date
Desirable requirements.
- Level 2 qualification or experience in a care setting.
Healthcare Assistant Band 3: Education, Qualifications, and Relevant Experience
Essential criteria
- GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent
- NVQ 2 in Health Care, or equivalent.
- Clinical skills include venepuncture, blood transfusion, and aseptic non-touch approach.
- Prior experience in a care setting.
- Previous hospital experience.
