JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Support Worker will work within the ADHD services, helping to assess, implement, and administer high-quality patient treatment.
The selected candidate will have appropriate experience, great communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care. Good teamwork and interpersonal skills are needed, as is the ability to manage one’s own time and work alone for extended periods of time. A strong grasp of ADHD would be beneficial, but training and support will be provided.
Main responsibilities of the job
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help with triage, assessment, and therapy implementation for ADHD patients. Assisted with the continuing physical health monitoring of patients. Supporting the implementation of treatment regimens determined by the registered nurse. Working with colleagues to triage and evaluate referrals and patient self-report data as part of the evaluation process. The post will be team-based, but it is part of the Trust’s Neurodiversity directorate, so it will require effort and support across all localities.
