**Job Description**
We are currently seeking an Equipment Maintenance Manufacturing Technician for our Cheltenham facility.
In this role, you will maintain and repair various equipment including environmental testing chambers, air conditioning systems, chillers, vibration systems, industrial ovens, and wash tanks.
Your primary responsibilities will involve preventive and reactive maintenance of refrigeration systems and control systems, such as programmers, chart recorders, relays, and switchgear.
You will also be a key member of the Site Services team, managing all on-site plant and equipment, including air handling units, compressed air, water systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems. You will handle emergency situations, including fire and flood, and will receive training for weekly fire alarm tests and operating diesel sprinkler pumps.
You will work with a team of 16 colleagues, including HVAC engineers, electricians, plumbers, laborers, and garden maintenance staff.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Work on environmental chambers, including installation, preventive maintenance, programming, and fault diagnosis (including F-Gas)
– Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
– Manage chilled water systems installation, maintenance, and repair
– Demonstrate proficiency in pneumatics, electrics, hydraulics, and vibration systems related to environmental testing
**Qualifications/Requirements:**
– Safety-conscious
– Electrical competency (C&G or equivalent)
– Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
– Strong team player in a multidisciplinary environment
– Excellent organizational and communication skills
**Desired Skills:**
– Experience with vibration systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and water systems
– Willingness to receive training on additional production equipment and expand repair capabilities
