We have a fantastic opportunity for you at our Milton Keynes location, which is a critical component of the Manufacturing Division Animal Health network. As a Technician, you will be an important component of the manufacturing process for animal health products such as pig, cattle, sheep, and poultry vaccinations.
As a technician, you will be in charge of generating antigens generated from large-scale anaerobic fermentation. These antigens are then concentrated and purified before being used as an active element in our vaccines.
This role entails a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, including:
- Performing direct and indirect actions involved with antigen manufacturing, following the manufacturing Schedule, and adhering to local regulatory and GMP criteria.
- Preparing, using, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and laboratory equipment, including isolators, vessels, and filtering equipment.
- Following regular operational processes and ensuring good documentation practices.
- Participating in the Site Tier Process.
- Using MPS tools and methodology to guide and assist investigations and CAPA implementation
- Participate in company-sponsored training and events.
- Modelling Safe by Choice and Inclusive Behaviours.
What We Look For:
- Ideally, A levels (or equivalent) in science-related topics.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to adhere to established documentation processes.
- Ability to function well in a team setting
- Basic computer abilities (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
- Ability to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
