About the role:

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our client’s restaurants. You will be in charge of preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring that all meals are presented to the highest standard. Working directly with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will help to develop menus, run your sector efficiently, and educate junior kitchen personnel. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your creativity, precision, and culinary skills.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare, cook, and display foods that meet the restaurant’s high standards.
  • Assist with menu development, ensuring that all meals maintain consistency and quality.
  • Manage your sector effectively during service, providing a smooth flow of food preparation and prompt delivery.
  • Monitor stock levels and interact with the head chef to ensure correct ingredient procurement and inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety laws.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and effective workplace.
  • Provide advice and assistance to junior kitchen staff, encouraging their development and advancement.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or related function in a reputed establishment (2 years).
  • knowledge of numerous cooking techniques and culinary traditions; if this is Mediterranean, even better.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations. The business performs 400 covers each day plus.
  • Excellent organising skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
