Company Overview:
Coinford is a groundworks and concrete frame expert that completes contracts ranging from £1 million to £50 million in London and the South East of England. This job works out of our headquarters, Redeham Hall.
Role Purpose and Objective:
Ensure that all plants work effectively and efficiently on a daily basis, and that plant downtime is kept to a minimum on site. To repair and service the plant in a professional, high-quality manner
Key responsibilities:
Health and Safety
· Ensure a safe working environment for assigned duties.
· Wear the necessary PPE for the task.
· Ensure site safety requirements are followed.
· Plants should be quarantined if they are unsafe for usage.
· Comply with UK highway laws and regulations.
· Comply with RAMS for Mobile Fitters.
· Manage COSHH systems and substances.
Quality
· Maintain regular communication with Breakdown Supervisor to improve service quality for our sites.
· Ensure work is completed on time.
· Communicate with site management about malfunctions.
• Represent the brand professionally and as an ambassador.
· Prioritise attention to detail for optimal service.
· Maintain a positive working relationship on site.
• Provide competent and high-quality plant repairs and services.
· Ensure plant is suited for purpose.
· Report probable recurring issues to the Breakdown Supervisor.
• Ensure tablet jobs are completed accurately and promptly.
· Coordinate with the Breakdown Supervisor to ensure availability of the necessary parts for daily duties.
· Report any plant neglect or misuse to the Breakdown Supervisor immediately.
· Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
· Ensure compliance with FORS rules.
· Report road traffic incidents to the FORS Manager.
Commercial
· Minimise downtime across all machines.
· Ensure cost-effective repairs.
· Provide guidance to Site Managers and Foremen on effective and efficient plant operations.
The preceding list of work duties is not exhaustive, and the post holder will be needed to perform any tasks that are reasonably expected within the scope of their role.
Experience/Skills Required:
· NVQ qualification in plant maintenance.
· CSCS qualification.
· Product and plant knowledge.
· CPCS/NPORS non-operative qualifications.
· Effective communication abilities.
· Team player who can operate independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
· Required GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics.
