PPR UK is recruiting for a thriving independent pharmacy group with a significant presence in the southwest. They are looking for a Pharmacy Manager in Westbury, Wiltshire.

The pharmacy is located inside a health centre and offers a variety of services to its customers.

 

Details of the Pharmacy:

 

  • Monday through Friday, the store is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p. (Closed on Saturdays since the end of March)
  • Dispenses an average of 19,900 articles every month.
  • The store has one ACD who works with the chemist.
  • A second dispenser is being trained as an ACD and is now enrolled in an NVQ3 training course.
  • The store has approximately 100 MDS patients per month, but this number is decreasing because they are no longer accepting new patients. The ACD checks all MDS.
  • Store has completed 1700 NMS in the last ten months.
  • In 2023, the store completed 16,000 Covid vaccinations. (The majority of these were co-administered with flu during the winter season.

 

Salary:  £60,000 per year + bonuses – estimated to be around £14,000 (all paid annually in July, except NMS and Covid).

Opening hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.Monday through Friday.

Five days per week.

Items: 19,900.

The requirements for the role are:

 

  • GPhC Registration
  • Worked in a busy pharmacy.
  • Customer-focused Pharmacist who appreciates providing good service.
  • Enjoys providing services including NMS, flu vaccinations, blood pressure checks, and PGDs.
