Summary
We have an amazing chance to lead customer support efforts for both civilian and military customers, guaranteeing a high level of service. In addition to directly handling all transactions for a handful of significant client accounts, this position will be responsible for leading a small staff of customer account managers, offering mentoring, direction, and guidance as needed. Responsible for your team’s main performance measures, you will be comfortable processing data and determining which priorities for yourself and the team will have the greatest influence on the business. You’ll be able to collaborate with various departments to advocate for your customers and push process changes throughout the company.

Roles and responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all transactions for a number of significant client accounts, guaranteeing fast order processing, forecasting demand, and providing delivery information.
- Confident team leader with up to four direct reports. Communicates performance expectations and maintains team performance and deliverables.
- Use clear thinking to solve problems and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver timely results that meet client needs.
- Considers or brings best practices from previous experience to challenge existing processes, generate KPI improvements, or minimise processing time for the team.
- Customer advocates that can effectively articulate their customers’ primary demands within the larger organisation.
- Confident in making decisions based on data, study, and many internal and external sources of information.
- Lead initiatives with cross-functional responsibilities to drive improvements across one or more departments.
- Serves as a resource for coworkers who have less experience.
- Ability to train your team, clarify material, and create abilities for bringing team members to consensus on topics within department priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Proven customer-facing and/or commercial experience.
- Experience in people leadership, training, coaching, and team development (direct line management or indirect via coach/mentoring)
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor performance using KPIs, fulfil deadlines, prioritise tasks, and take recovery actions as needed.
- A self-starter capable of managing your own and your team’s workload with minimal supervision.
- Passionate about team development and always looking for ways to improve and challenge existing practices.
