Our IT&D Service Hub Team is part of the Orbis alliance, including East Sussex County Council, Surrey County Council, and Brighton & Hove City Council. The goal of this collaboration is to provide more value to our councils, citizens, and customers by boosting efficiency and leveraging the benefits of combining people, resources, and technology.
Our IT&D Service Hub Team supports East Sussex County Council’s 5,000-strong workforce with IT needs. It’s that simple: our team is essential to keeping our workers providing crucial services to East Sussex communities.
With a varied range of technology and software supporting our employees’ activities, the queries and assistance required is often tough but rewarding if you enjoy assisting others and solving problems.
On a daily basis, you will put your IT knowledge and customer service abilities to the test by providing technical assistance to help solve inquiries, collaborating with second and third line support teams as needed.We also welcome and encourage our team to contribute and create ideas, which means we are constantly improving and increasing the service we deliver.

If you are applying for a part-time or term-time position, your starting salary will be pro rata.
Work Permits: We may be able to get a Work Permit for this position, but this is contingent on meeting the conditions of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
