JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Domiciliary Care Assistant needed to go door-to-door

 

Pay / Contract

 

Full-Time Job: 40 to 45 hours a week

Part-time job, 20 to 25 hours a week

Pay by the hour: £11.55 to £11.85

To do personal care and support work from door to door for clients with a wide range of illnesses, needs, and disabilities

 

 

 

 

  • To help clients with going to the toilet, managing their continence, and personal cleanliness

 

  • Help clients get ready for the day and get ready for bed at night.

 

  • To help clients with their medications at the amount of help that was agreed upon and as described in their Medication Care Needs Assessment

 

  • To keep thorough and correct records of the care, medication assistance, and chores performed

 

  • To make food and drinks for the client while taking into account their preferences, dietary needs, and cultural needs

 

  • As described in the care plan or as directed by management, do light general housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and housework.

 

  • To follow all health and safety rules and do what you can to keep yourself and others healthy and safe. If you have any worries, you should tell the Field Care Supervisor.

 

  • Anything else that Senior Management asks you to do that is related to the job.
