Key Responsibilities

  • HR Support: Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide administrative support.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update HR systems for recruitment, leave, sickness, probation, staff reviews, and records.
  • Onboarding: Organize inductions for new team members and set up visitor agreements.
  • Committee Work: Act as secretary for the Wellbeing, Inclusivity, Diversity, and Equality Committee.
  • General Administration: Complete HR paperwork and provide reception cover when needed.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous experience in HR administration, with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of colleagues.
  • Familiarity with university HR systems is desirable but not essential.
