Key Responsibilities
- HR Support: Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide administrative support.
- Data Management: Maintain and update HR systems for recruitment, leave, sickness, probation, staff reviews, and records.
- Onboarding: Organize inductions for new team members and set up visitor agreements.
- Committee Work: Act as secretary for the Wellbeing, Inclusivity, Diversity, and Equality Committee.
- General Administration: Complete HR paperwork and provide reception cover when needed.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in HR administration, with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of colleagues.
- Familiarity with university HR systems is desirable but not essential.
