Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team, providing essential care to individuals in both home care and care home environments. This role involves supporting clients in their daily lives, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Strong communication skills and a commitment to following care plans are key to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care.
  • Follow and update individual care plans, noting any changes in clients’ conditions or needs.
  • Travel to clients’ homes or care facilities as needed, ensuring punctuality for scheduled visits.
  • Use IT systems for record-keeping and reporting, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Engage in training sessions and continuous professional development to enhance skills.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to new situations.
  • Familiarity with care plans and basic healthcare principles is an advantage.
  • A driving licence is preferred for traveling to various care locations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,880.00-£32,651.86 per year
