Role Details

  • Location: Leeds, with the flexibility of two days of remote work per week.
  • Focus: The position offers involvement in various projects, including offshore ventures. While offshore experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
  • Background: Ideal candidates will have a civil engineering or geotechnical background and hold Chartered Engineer status.

Requirements

  • Experience: Approximately 5-10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Chartered Engineer: Essential qualification.
  • Leadership Aspirations: Ability to work independently with a vision to lead and establish a team.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Design of foundations and geotechnical constructions.
    • Preferred experience in:
      • Piles in Chalk and Glacial Till.
      • Offshore design, especially wind farms and ports.
      • Railway, depot, and station design.
      • Embankments and cuttings.
      • Ground treatment/improvement.
