Job Description
Who We Are
Resolve AI builds smart AI agents that help software engineers by taking over stressful and repetitive work in production systems. Instead of spending hours fixing incidents or juggling complicated infrastructure tasks, engineers can focus on building new things while our AI handles the rest.
Our founders, Spiros Xanthos and Mayank Agarwal, are experts in this space. They helped create OpenTelemetry (an industry standard), led Splunk’s Observability business, and have already built and sold successful companies. We’ve also raised $35M in seed funding from some of the best investors and tech leaders, including folks from Google, GitHub, AWS, LinkedIn, and Stanford.
We’re still at an early stage, which means you’d be joining while the company is small but growing fast. It’s the kind of moment where your work has a huge impact and you help set the foundation for the future.
The Role
This job is about working directly with customers and making sure Resolve’s technology runs smoothly in their complex systems. You’ll sit at the meeting point of engineering and customer success: setting up deployments, running trials, figuring out problems, and showing customers the real value of our AI.
Think of it as being both an engineer and a trusted guide—someone who not only makes the tech work but also helps the customer feel confident about using it.
What You’ll Do
- Set up Resolve in real customer systems from start to finish.
- Work with customers and our sales team during proof‑of‑concepts (trial runs), making sure adoption is smooth.
- Fix, configure, and tune deployments across cloud and infrastructure systems.
- Act as a technical advisor, helping customers improve their observability and reliability.
- Share customer feedback with our product and engineering teams so we can build better features.
- Automate repeat tasks by writing scripts and improving our setup process.
What We’re Looking For
You should be a mix of engineer, problem solver, and customer partner. You don’t just want tech to work—you want people to feel the impact of it.
We’d like you to have:
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering or site reliability engineering (SRE).
- Experience with observability tools (like OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana).
- Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and Kubernetes.
- Previous experience in roles where you worked closely with customers (e.g., solutions engineer, forward‑deployed engineer, sales engineer).
- Strong communication skills—you can explain tech clearly to both engineers and business folks.
- Comfort working in high‑pressure situations where speed and accuracy are equally important.
Nice to have:
- Hands‑on experience as an observability engineer.
- Background as a sales or solutions engineer.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Big Impact: Your work directly improves how engineers manage systems around the world.
- Shape the Future: You’ll help define how AI changes the way engineering gets done.
- Ownership: Small team environment where your work really matters.
- Career Growth: Work closely with leaders who built massive platforms before—great chance to learn and grow faster.
Benefits:
- Competitive pay and equity (with early exercise and tax advantages).
- Health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Monthly housing allowance.
- Unlimited vacation (with trust to actually take it).
- Visa sponsorship and immigration support.
- 401(k) plan and parental leave.
- Tech stipend for your gear.
- Free daily meals at the office.
Our Commitment
We’re an equal opportunity employer. We hire based on skills and drive, not on background, identity, or personal circumstances. Everyone is welcome
