Key Responsibilities
As a qualified electrician at SEAS, you’ll play a vital role in powering communities and businesses alike. Your daily duties may include:
- Installing and maintaining electrical systems—from wiring layouts to control panels—in homes, offices, factories, and public buildings
- Conducting routine inspections, internal controls, and compliance checks per current Norwegian electrical codes
- Designing and implementing customized lighting and heating setups tailored to client needs
- Setting up telecom networks, fiber optics, and structured cabling for IT infrastructure
- Troubleshooting faults using diagnostic tools and performing timely repairs
- Integrating smart home technologies such as automated lighting, security systems, and energy management hubs
- Collaborating closely with project managers to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
You’ll also contribute actively to maintaining strict adherence to health & safety protocols throughout all phases of each assignment.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this position, you should bring:
- Recognized certification/license as an electrician (fagbrev or svennebrev)
- Proven track record handling both high-voltage and low-voltage installations
- Solid grasp of relevant laws, technical standards (e.g., NEK 400), and risk-prevention practices
- Strong organizational abilities paired with self-discipline and collaborative mindset
- Dependability, time-consciousness, and proactive problem-solving attitude
- Clear verbal/written communication skills in Norwegian or English
- Possession of Class B driver’s license + access to personal vehicle preferred
Prior involvement in multidisciplinary teams or familiarity with digital project coordination tools is highly valued but not mandatory.
