Job Summary
The Dairy/Frozen Stocker is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and stocking assigned areas in the Dairy and Frozen department. This role involves assisting customers, ensuring modular and feature presentations are up to standard, and providing excellent customer service in alignment with Walmart’s Basic Beliefs and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Department Zoning:
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing department.
- Stock Rotation:
- Rotate stock and check for expired products to ensure freshness.
- Pricing and Signage:
- Verify merchandise is accurately signed and priced.
- Cold Chain Compliance:
- Follow standards and policies for cold chain management, including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and proper product rotation.
- Food Safety:
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring compliance with cleaning protocols and handling guidelines.
- Procedures:
- Execute proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing, pricing, and labeling.
- Feature Maintenance:
- Set up and maintain product displays and features.
- Clean and Organized Area:
- Keep the department free of clutter, debris, foreign objects, and liquids to maintain a safe and pleasant shopping environment.
Compensation:
- The starting rate for this position is $17.55 per hour, with pay determined based on relevant experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years or older.
