Aston University has entered an exciting new phase with the launch of its Strategy for 2030, which defines the institution as inclusive, entrepreneurial, and transformational. The university is now seeking a Contracts Manager to support the expansion of its externally funded research and enterprise projects.
Reporting to the Head of Awards and Contracts, the Contracts Manager will take the lead in negotiating and managing research contracts across all areas of research and innovation. The position is based within the Research and Enterprise Department, which plays a vital role in supporting the university’s research growth, working closely with teams in Research Services, Knowledge Exchange, Commercialisation, and the Graduate School.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in research contract negotiation and management within a university or research environment. A strong understanding of research funding, compliance, intellectual property, and collaboration agreements is essential.
