- Occupational Therapist Level 1/2: $70,944 – $101,211 per annum
- Psychologist: $74,742 – $109,397 per annum
- Registered Nurse: $70,049.73 – $98,351.38 per annum
- Social Worker Level 1/2: $70,944 – $101,211 per annum
- Welfare Officer Level 1/2: $70,944 – $101,211 per annum

Role Overview:
As a Community Mental Health Clinician, you will deliver recovery-focused clinical services within a multidisciplinary team. Your duties will include conducting assessments, care coordination, intervention, liaison, and review for individuals referred to the service with mental health issues, distress, and/or risk factors.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Qualifications & Registration:
- Tertiary qualifications and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist.
- Tertiary qualifications for Social Workers, Counsellors, or Welfare Officers with eligibility for membership in a relevant professional association.
- Clinical Experience:
- Proven experience in contemporary mental health practices, including mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions for individuals experiencing mental illness.
- Legislative Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007).
- Recovery-Oriented Approach:
- Proficiency in using a collaborative, strengths-based approach in mental health rehabilitation and recovery.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with consumers, their families, carers, and other stakeholders.
- High proficiency in computer literacy.
- Driver’s License:
- Current unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to travel as required. This may include long-distance driving.
Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination (OASV):
This is a Category ‘A’ position. All new employees must comply with the NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015, including proof of vaccination against influenza for staff entering any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or working in NSW Health-owned and operated RACFs.
