We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Educational Leader with visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates who hold an Early Childhood Teaching (ECT) qualification in Australia. Join our dynamic team at a renowned childcare centre in Newcastle, NSW, where you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of young children.

About the Role:

As an Educational Leader, you will inspire and lead other educators while delivering exceptional care and educational programs. Experience as an Educational Leader is preferred but not essential for the right candidate. Your passion for early childhood education, combined with your ability to motivate and guide your team, will ensure the best outcomes for the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a warm, welcoming, and secure environment for children
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities
• Observe and monitor children’s growth, behavior, and development
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and evaluate curriculum
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies
• Maintain accurate documentation and records

Requirements:

• Recognised Early Childhood Qualification (Bachelor of Teaching)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for working with children

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,150.00 – $87,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Required)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation: Australia (Required)

Work Location: In person
