Role Overview
As a Careers Consultant, you will provide expert careers advice and employability guidance to students, primarily aligned with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering 1:1 consultations, group sessions, and technology-enabled career services.
- Collaborating with academics, professional services, and external partners to enhance employability offerings.
- Building strategic relationships across the university to support employability initiatives.
- Innovating with new technologies and methodologies to meet the evolving needs of students.
About You
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Careers Professional, ideally with higher education (HE) experience and a strong understanding of the aspirations and demands of a motivated and high-achieving student cohort.

Further Information
This full-time position requires 36.5 hours of work per week. Occasional evening and weekend work is expected to support appointments, events, and conferences, which may include overnight stays. Participation in University Open Days is also required.
