About the Role

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant at Light Health Care, you’ll provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes. You’ll assist with personal care, daily activities, and promote independence, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This role is integral to building strong relationships with clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Supporting daily activities (meal preparation, medication reminders)
• Promoting client independence
• Maintaining a safe environment
• Following individual care plans and documenting changes

Qualities We’re Looking For

• Excellent communication skills
• Reliability and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Driving License with business insurance
• Right to work in the UK
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Flexibility
• At least 6 months of domiciliary care experience

• Day shift

Experience Required:

• 1 year in a care home (preferred)
• Care Certificate (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Enhanced DBS
