Job Summary
This position provides an amazing opportunity to work in our vibrant and innovative Critical Care Units. As a Critical Care Assistant, you will be a key member of the team, delivering exceptional care to our most dependent patients.
You will contribute to the Trust’s mission of Brilliant Care by fulfilling patients’ everyday requirements and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the unit. You will be responsible for gathering patient observation notes, documenting changes in condition, and collecting, sorting, and transporting specimens, all under the supervision of our highly skilled Critical Care registered practitioners.
You will be able to work on your own initiative in a wide and varied role, collaborating with many different departments throughout the Trust, as well as patients and carers.
This position will appeal to people with a care background who are sensitive and calm under pressure. An interest in high dependency care and previous experience in this setting would be advantageous.
