Job Description

Business Operations & Development Associate – London

We are looking for a Business Operations & Development Associate to play a key role in our expansion into London and across the UK. This position blends operations, business development, and cross-cultural management to ensure smooth supply chain coordination between China and the UK while upholding the authentic standards that define our brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities within the UK Asian food sector, with a strong focus on London.
  • Develop and implement operational systems to improve efficiency across dine-in, takeaway, and franchise services.
  • Manage supply chain and quality assurance, working closely with Chinese suppliers and UK partners.
  • Deliver staff training and cultural guidance to maintain authentic Sichuan cuisine standards.
  • Assist senior management in preparing business plans, financial forecasts, and compliance reports.
  • Support brand marketing initiatives (social media, events, partnerships) to build a strong London presence.
  • Analyse sales data and performance metrics, recommending strategies to drive revenue and profitability growth.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in operations, administration, or food industry support.
  • Strong bilingual communication skills in Mandarin and English.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-cultural projects and teams.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with the UK food & beverage sector and Chinese cuisine culture.
  • Experience supporting business expansion or international projects.
