Why This Role Matters:
The School of Science at UNSW Canberra is looking for a highly motivated Senior Project Officer to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in providing top-tier project support to the School Executive team and other key stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of the School and Faculty Strategies and initiatives. Your expertise in project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement will be pivotal to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive project support, including planning, development, and implementation of projects within the School of Science.
- Collaborate with the school executive team to manage project administration, finances, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Utilize various software applications, including project management systems and SharePoint, to enhance project efficiency.
Who We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in using project-based software and SharePoint.
- Strong communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing demands, and take initiative within a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
