The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team in Wagga Wagga / Albury region. Reporting to our Canberra Branch, you will be in charge of providing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to our customers’ equipment in Wagga Wagga, Albury, and southern NSW.

The key roles include:

  • Onsite technical service for Hitachi equipment, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Providing great customer service to our clients
  • Ensure that work environments are always tidy, and that all essential documentation is completed and submitted on time.
  • Performing your task in accordance with all quality and safety standards and procedures

To succeed in the role, you’ll need:

  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or an equivalent subject (Diesel Mechanic).
  • Previously worked as a heavy diesel mechanic
  • OEM equipment experience is highly regarded.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively tackle technological challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service manners.
  • An unwavering dedication to quality craftsmanship and safety rules and procedures
