Job Summary
Location: Motherwell Street, Airdrie
Salary: £12.12 per hour
Hours: Part-time (20 – 30 hours per week)
We are seeking an Assistant Chef to join our 88-bedded care home in Airdrie. Reporting to the Head Chef and Home Manager, you will be responsible for preparing balanced, nutritious meals for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals that meet the dietary needs of elderly residents.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, COSHH, and EHO regulations.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in catering to the dietary needs of the elderly.
- Previous experience in a care home setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH, and EHO regulations.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
