Job Summary/Basic Functions

This post is within the Division of Facilities Management and Safety. The architect oversees capital construction projects on the main campus and at regional campuses. The Capital Construction Project Administrator will be in charge of ensuring that user groups’ needs are clearly expressed to design specialists, and that projects are planned to efficiently and successfully implement intended programmes. That construction is completed on schedule and under budget. The position will be responsible for project management from initial planning, programming, and budgeting to warranty period.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is necessary.

Requirements for licencing include one year of experience above the minimum.

Architects and engineers must hold professional licences from the State Board of Examiners and Registration of Architects or the State Board of Licensure for Engineers and Land Surveyors.

Must maintain a current licence as a professional architect by the State Board of Examiners and Registration of Architects, or as a professional engineer by the State Board of Licensure for Engineers and Land Surveyors.
