About the Role
As an Activities Worker, you’ll create and deliver a variety of exciting social and recreational activities for our residents, ensuring they have engaging opportunities to enjoy. From organizing outings and events to hosting baking sessions or finding shared interests in small groups, your creativity and passion will directly enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Whether it’s planning large-scale social events or arranging intimate gatherings, your role will be integral to fostering connection, enjoyment, and inclusion.
About You
While prior experience in activity coordination is not required, having an artistic flair, strong organizational skills, or an enthusiasm for arranging fantastic social activities is essential.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
- Creativity and a proactive approach to planning activities.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of people with disabilities.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in activity coordination or supporting people with disabilities.
- Understanding of how to create inclusive and engaging opportunities.
