Join BioNutrients Sensient , a leader in innovative solutions for the fermentation industry, as a Sales Account Manager. In this remote, home-based role, you will drive growth in the fermentation space by leveraging Sensient’s plant and yeast-derived extracts to help companies optimize their production processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales: Partner with manufacturers to solve innovation challenges using Sensient’s advanced ingredients. Provide insights into fermentation processes such as probiotics and food culture production, and collaborate with the Global Technical Service Manager to offer expert technical support and consultancy.
- Territory Management: Take ownership of your sales territory with the autonomy to manage and expand your business. You’ll have the support of a dynamic team, including R&D and technical services, to ensure your success.
- Business Development: Cultivate relationships with existing clients and prospect new business opportunities. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with short-term and long-term prospects, and work towards closing new accounts.
Qualifications:
- Sales Expertise: Proven success in B2B technical sales, preferably within the specialty ingredients sector. Experience in selling value-added solutions is highly desirable.
- Technical Knowledge: A degree in the natural sciences (e.g., biology, chemistry, or microbiology) or a related field is preferred to understand the technical nature of Sensient’s offerings.
- Business Acumen: A strategic, results-oriented approach to developing business opportunities and winning new accounts.
- Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 60%, ideally based near a major airport in the Southeastern United States.
