Assisting the Chief Engineer in: Establishing and implementing grid substations maintenance program for installation and modification of high voltage substations. Developing and assembling specifications for substation equipment and obtaining cost estimates and making procurements of small plant and tools. Defining grid substation maintenance program scope, budget, schedule, resources whilst collaborating with other departments in carrying out new installations of substations equipment. Witnessing factory tests of major equipment and delivery control during manufacturing. • Collaborated with different departments in drafting, developing, and maintaining Maintenance Standards and Procedures. • Effectively responded to technical queries and substation inspection queries raised by Regulatory Authorities. • Provided input in the hiring process of external work force and new recruitment to region. • Produced weekly and monthly reports and presented during midyear maintenance review meetings.
