Staff Nurse – Fracture Clinic

Are you looking for a fresh and rewarding nursing challenge in a fast-paced outpatient setting? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join the dedicated and supportive Fracture Clinic team at Royal Cornwall Hospital.
This role offers variety, hands-on clinical experience, and the chance to develop specialist skills while making a real difference to patients recovering from injury or surgery.
About the Role
As a key member of the Fracture Clinic nursing team, you will care for a wide range of patients attending with fractures, musculoskeletal injuries, and post-operative needs. The clinic also runs a busy dressings service, so an interest in wound care and tissue viability would be highly beneficial.
We are looking for a motivated nurse who is keen to learn, develop new competencies, and consistently deliver high-quality, compassionate, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective and compassionate nursing care to patients attending the Fracture Clinic
- Work confidently as a skilled member of the multidisciplinary team
- Lead, supervise and support qualified and unqualified staff when required
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, relatives and colleagues
- Take charge of the clinic in the absence of senior nursing staff, as appropriate
- Contribute to service improvement and uphold clinical standards at all times

Working Hours
- Monday: 08:30 – 18:30
- Tuesday to Friday: 08:30 – 16:30
- Some weekend working: 07:00 – 14:00
